NEW ORLEANS—Reserve defensive end Solomon Thomas’s interception with 58 seconds left sealed Ohio State’s 31-26 Sugar Bowl victory over Arkansas on Tuesday night at the Louisiana Superdome.

An announced Superdome crowd of 73,879 saw the Buckeyes (12-1) record their first-ever bowl victory over the SEC in 10 tries.

Three of those losses came in BCS games.
